Reward offered for tips leading to suspects in home burglary

The Portland Police Bureau and Crime Stoppers of Oregon are is asking for the public’s help solving a burglary in outer Northeast Portland.

On Tuesday, March 19, Portland Police officers began investigating a report of a home that was broken into in the 3900 block of Northeast 149th Avenue. One of the items taken in the burglary was the victim’s purse containing miscellaneous identification and credit cards.

The following Sunday, March 24, police discovered that the victim’s credit card was used at the Target store at 9800 S.E. Washington St.

Officers worked with Target Asset Protection to get surveillance video of the person using the stolen credit card. She is described as a white female in her 20s to 30s with shoulder-length dark hair and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with “Oregon” written on the front.

A man with her is described as a white male in his 20s to 30s with short sandy blond hair and wearing a dark zip-up “American Eagle” sweatshirt and blue jeans.

They were driving a newer silver pickup with a bed cover.
