Senior Center board meeting open to public
The Gresham Senior Center Board of Directors invites all interested community members to attend its annual board meeting at 9 a.m. Monday, June 10.
The group will meet in the Blue Lake Community Room on the first floor of the Multnomah County East Building at 600 N.E. Eighth St., Gresham.
During the meeting, the board will fill positions with members, hear new ideas and serve refreshments.
Learn small space gardening at Als
Whether you have a small yard, a balcony or a patio, you can grow flowers, berries, vegetables and even some fruits.
Learn how to maximize your space to produce a colorful urban garden. Als Garden Center of Gresham will offer a small space gardening class at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at 7505 S.E. Hogan Road.
The workshop is free and doesnt require registration.

Prime Timers Dining Club to meet June 5
The Prime Timers Dining Club meets Wednesday, June 5, at Francis Xaviers Restaurant, 1933 N.E. 181st Ave., Portland.
Social time begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is Dutch treat.
