Walter and Vivian McCoy
Gresham residents Walter Earl and Vivian Noell McCoy recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a family dinner party at Bumpers Grill and Bar in Fairview.
They were married May 27, 1943, in Spade, Texas, and their honeymoon was an adventuresome move to Oregon.
The couple has two daughters, Connie Otto of Gresham and Linda Vega of Fairview; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
Walter is retired from Your Town and Country Co-op, where he was manager of the fertilizer and chemical division. He enjoys hunting, fishing and bowling with the Swinging Seniors Bowling League.
Vivian is a homemaker. She enjoys gardening, and she is an avid reader and crossword puzzle enthusiast.
They are both active with Gresham United Methodist Church.
