Police arrest accused drug dealers

Two alleged drug dealers are in jail following an investigation by Portland's gang enforcement team.

At 5 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, the Portland Police Bureau's Special Emergency Reaction Team served a search warrant at a home in the 16100 block of Southeast Sherman Street in outer Southeast Portland, said Sgt. Pete Simpson, Portland Police spokesman.

There investigators seized a small amount of narcotics and cash, and arrested two people.Larry D. Cunningham

Larry Darnell Cunningham, 33, of Southeast Portland, is being held on $385,000 bail at the Multnomah County Detention Center on seven counts of felony delivering cocaine near a school and seven counts of cocaine possession.

Otisha Annette Williams, 28, also of Southeast Portland, is being held on $55,000 bail at the Multnomah County Detention Center on allegations of cocaine possession and delivering the drug near a school. She also is being held on warrants for other offenses, ranging from impaired and reckless driving to criminal mischief.

In addition, police removed a 6-year-old child from the home. The child is now staying with relatives in the area.Otisha A. Williams
