Investigators have determined that a juvenile playing with illegal fireworks sparked last week's fire on Government Island that burned approximately 25 acres.
It took firefighters from Gresham, Vancouver and Portland hours to control the three-alarm fire that snarled afternoon and evening traffic on Interstate 205 on Monday, Aug. 19.
