Human Solutions building honored
The city of Gresham will present a gold-level GREAT Award on Thursday, Dec. 20, to Human Solutions, owner of the Rockwood Building, for its conservation and recycling efforts.
With recycling bins in the break room, real utensils and a composting bin in the break room and an energy-efficient heating and cooling system that shuts off when the building is unoccupied, the Rockwood Building joins about 140 other Gresham businesses honored with a GREAT award.
Human Solutions shares its space with five social service agencies that have also embraced reduce, reuse and recycle efforts.
Fairview City Hall to close several hours Dec. 20
