The series is part of the Jazz Association's effort to promote Jazz on the Plaza, which will take place Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Center for the Arts Plaza. The all-afternoon and evening event will feature student jazz musicians followed by well-known jazz performers in the late afternoon and early evening. The night will feature danceable music, and the fest will offer a beer and wine garden, artisans and food vendors with an East Metro flavor.
