The search for a missing and endangered young woman has been suspended pending new information or developments.
On Monday, March 25, the Multnomah County Sheriffs Office asked for the publics help finding Jessica Phillips, 26, of Auburn, Wash., who was last seen leaving the Wood Village Walmart, 23500 N.E. Sandy Blvd., and heading east through the parking lot at 2:03 p.m., said Lt. Steve Alexander, sheriffs office spokesman.
Phillips is endangered because she requires medications. Shed come down for the day with her mother and other relatives from Auburn but became separated in the store. Her relatives reported her missing at 3:46 p.m.
After several hours of searching the area around the store, the surrounding neighborhoods, circulating flyers with Phillips description and photo, using a reverse call directory to contact citizens to tell them about the missing woman and checking on reported sightings of the woman, sheriffs office search and rescue units and canine tracking teams from North Oregon Regional Search and Rescue were unable to find Phillips.
Phillips is described as a thin, 5-foot-5-inch tall Hispanic woman with short frizzy black hair. She was wearing a black winter jacket, blue jeans and had a purple backpack.
